Game collection

- What is it

Game collection is actually a application for maintaining your videogame collection. It not just keeps track of your collection, but gives a detailed analysis about what you bought, when you bought it, and for which console/handheld/computer. The original idea was born out of a personal Excell spreadsheet that could calculate practically anything about my Collection. However A spreadsheet the complex quickly becomes too big for Microsoft's spreadsheet processor so I turned to Adobe's dreamweaver and Adobe AIR to create a Desktop Application which communicates with XML.

- Program functions

Game profiles, Ratings, Front-page with last added Games, Random Game Caroussel, Game search (for browsing through your collection), Game overview, Youtube support, Detailed statistics (Play states, Disc Editions/Form factors, Consoles, Game Genre, and Financial View (Per month), Three export types (Simple, Advanced, And a special export for your Games that are for sale), Backup options (Keeps track of your Backups, reverts old Backups, creates backups AND let you clear your entire Collection), and thorough support through application Updates.

- System requirements

This is simple, You just need the Adobe AIR Framework, you can Download that at Adobe's website. Adobe AIR installs a little Framework that you won't notice when you use your computer normally, unless you launch a Adobe AIR Application (Like this one)

A internet Connection would be nice, but not needed to run this app, Internet access will be disabled automatically, leaving out the Youtube functionality, and news Ticker.
